This plugin comes packaged free with the theme. If you haven't already installed and activated the plugin there should be a message at the top of your WordPress dashboard prompting you to install and activate it.
On the left side of your WordPress dashboard in the main menu click on the Translation menu item
In the Languages tab set the Translate From field as the main language all your website content is already in. Then set Translate To and check all the languages you want to translate your website into, then click Save Changes.
Click on the Languages tab and you'll be presented with some shortcodes, for example the following is for English and Italian:
{:en}Your Text{/en} {:it_IT}Your Text{/it_IT}
To translate your content go to the place where you added it, so for example go to "Pages", click on a page to edit it, and if you have a title in English which says "Welcome to my hotel", replace this with:
{:en}Welcome to my hotel{/en} {:it_IT}Benvenuti nel mio albergo{/it_IT}
So you add the original English text inside the {:en}...{/en} tags, and add the Italian text inside the {:it_IT}...{/it_IT} tags.
It's as simple as that! You can translate any content like this, accommodation, posts, pages, widgets, 3rd party plugins, etc.
You can enable the language selection menu by going to Appearance > Customize > Soho Hotel Settings > Header and set Display language selection to Yes. To display the language selection in the footer as well, go to Appearance > Customize > Soho Hotel Settings > Footer and set Display language selection to Yes
